AILET 2025: Registration fee payment extended; exam on Dec 8

AILET 2025 Registration Fee: The National Law University (NLU) Delhi has extended the registration fee payment deadline for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025. Candidates can now complete the payment process till 11:59 pm to gain admission to the BA LLB (Hons), LLM and PhD programmes for the 2025-26 academic year.

The process will be done through the official website at the official website — nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Earlier, the facility to pay the application fee was 8 am of November 19. Registration for fresh candidates has been closed.

The eligibility criteria against minimum qualifying marks for admission to the LLM (one-year) non-residential programme is LLB or an equivalent law degree with 50 per cent marks. For students belonging to SC, ST and persons with disabilities, the minimum pass percentage required would be 45 per cent. Earlier, it was 55 per cent marks for UR category students and 50 per cent for reserved categories.

For the master of law (LLM) in intellectual property law and management, a candidate should have completed an LLB or an equivalent degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate. Candidates appearing for the final year LLB annual examination in 2025 will also be eligible to apply for AILET 2025.

The test centres in cities including Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Kota, Shimla and Siliguri will not be established due to an insufficient number of candidates, NLU Delhi said adding that candidates who have selected any of the cities as their first preference will have to update their test city preference for AILET 2025.
