The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the exam dates for the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Mains. The BPSC CCE 70th Mains 2024 exams will be held between April 25 and April 30 over five days.

The application process for the BPSC CCE 70th Mains exam will start on February 21 and continue till March 17. The BPSC official website – bpsc.bihar.gov.in will host the application form and other details on registration.

The BPSC 70th CCE Mains exam will be conducted for various administrative posts, including Bihar Administrative Service, Bihar Police Service, and others. Candidates who qualified for the mains exam can start preparing for the next stage of the selection process.

The mains exam will consist of four papers: General Hindi, General Studies Paper 1, General Studies Paper 2, and an optional subject paper. Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the mains exam and a subsequent interview round. The BPSC has announced a total of 2035 vacancies for various administrative posts.

Meanwhile, amid demands for the cancellation of the 70th CCE of BPSC held in December last year, popular educators like Khan Sir and Motiur Rahman Khan known as Guru Rahman, joined the protesters on Monday in Patna.

Protesters took out a rally from Mullsllahpur to Gardani Bagh in the state capital. Hundreds of protestors, carrying placards, demanded the cancellation of the exam. The CCE conducted by the BPSC on December 13, 2024, has been in the eye of a storm over allegations of question paper leak. Even as the government had dismissed the allegation, a fresh test was ordered for more than 12,000 candidates who had appeared in the exam at a centre in Patna.
