CBSE Date Sheet 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on November 20 released the board exam date sheets for classes 10 and 12. The Class 10 and Class 12 exams will start on February 15, 2025. The Class 10 exams will start with the English paper on February 15 and Class 12 will begin with the entrepreneurship exam on the first day.

Students who will appear for the board examination can check and download the datasheet from the official website, cbse.gov.in. CBSE has claimed that approximately 44 lakh students will appear for Class 10, and 12 examinations this year. The datasheet, CBSE said, has been prepared by avoiding more than 40,000 subject combinations to ensure that no two subjects’ exams offered by a student fall on the same date.

Class 10 and 12 exams will be held in the morning shift. Most papers will be conducted from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and some from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

While releasing the CBSE Class 10, 12 datesheets for the 2025 exams, the Board said: “For the first time, the dates sheets have been issued nearly 86 days before the start of the examinations. Also, when compared with the dates of the issue of the date sheet of examinations 2024, this year, the date sheets have been issued 23 days in advance.”

It further added that the dates of entrance exams meant for Class 12 students have been taken into consideration and efforts are made to complete the exams before the entrance exams.

Meanwhile, to ensure the conduction of CBSE 2025 exams smoothly and fairly at such a large scale, the Board has developed a CCTV policy thereby asking educational institutions to install high-resolution cameras where student actions and examination materials are easily visible.

Last year, the Class 12 board exams took place on February 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, March 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 30, April 1 and 2. While, Class 10 exams were conducted on February 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 26, 28, March 2, 4, 5, 7, 11 and 13.
