2-stage frisking, CCTV cameras: Bihar board releases BSEB Class 10th, 12th exam guidelines

BSEB 2024 Board Exams: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is set to start the Class 12 intermediate exams from February 1, 2024. As per BSEB 2024 exam guidelines, students will be frisked twice – first at the gate and next in the exam hall by a person designated for the purpose. Model BSEB exam centres have been set up in each district.

Installation of CCTV cameras and arrangements for videography will also be made at all the examination centers, the BSEB said while announcing the Bihar board exam guidelines. 

The board in the detailed guidelines released ahead of the BSEB 2024 exams also announced the reporting time, things to carry to the exam centre and more. These are:

– Students need to reach the examination centre well in advance. For exams starting at 9:30 am, students should reach the exam centre by 9 am, and for exams starting at 2 pm, candidates will have to reach at 1:30 pm.

– Students must not carry any electronic devices or paper in the exam hall.

– It is compulsory to carry the BSEB admit card 2024 along with a valid ID proof. 

– Students can carry stationery items like pen, pencil and blue or black ink pen.

The board also said that the invigilators and other personnel in the BSEB exam hall will not take any other documents and mobile phones to the centre except those related to the examination work. Also, electronic devices including bluetooth devices, pagers, smart watches, magnetic watches and electronic watches cannot to be used by any invigilator or other personnel including the candidates.
