27 Indian students get New Zealand Excellence Awards scholarships

27 Indian students get New Zealand Excellence Awards scholarships

Education New Zealand has presented scholarships to 27 Indian students in the New Zealand-India Education Connect programme held from February 8 to 14. These students presented with the New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA) will be able to study at globally ranked New Zealand universities. 

The NZEA scholarship is designed for Indian students and is a collaborative effort between Education New Zealand and all eight New Zealand universities – Auckland University of Technology, Lincoln University, Massey University, The University of Auckland, The University of Waikato, University of Canterbury, University of Otago and Victoria University of Wellington.

During the Education Connect programme hosted in Delhi, the New Zealand delegation also explored education collaboration possibilities with various universities in Bangalore. 

The New Zealand universities have also signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with Indian universities including with Jindal University, Symbiosis International University, Vidyalankar School of Information Technology (VSIT), Rajagiri Business School, Manav Rachna University, IIT Madras and IIT Hyderabad.
