
‘Be confident’: Nagaland CM wishes students as NBSE HSSLC board exams begin
The Nagaland Board of Secondary Education (NBSE) today started conducting the Nagaland HSSLC (Class 12) theory exams. The English exam started at 10 am and continued till 12 pm.
As per the schedule, the NBSE will conclude Class 12 exams on March 6, 2024. The first exam will be followed by education, psychology, entrepreneurship exam on February 14. The exam will conclude on March 6 with the vocational subject.
Over 60,00 students will be appearing for this year’s Class 10 and 12 board examination in 68 centres across the northeastern state on Monday, officials were quoted by PTI.

As the board exams commenced today, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio took to X to wish students luck for the tests. “My best wishes to the 22,136 students for HSLC and 17,911 students for HSSLC, who will be taking their exams under NBSE Nagaland. I urge you all to study hard, stay focussed, be confident and give your best. Wishing you all good health and may God bless your efforts with success,” Rio tweeted.
Meanwhile, the Nagaland Board has announced that NBSE will not conduct mid-term exams for the students of Class 8 and Class 9. The board will instead conduct phase 1 and phase 2 exams.
