Talking about his reason for participating in Bigg Boss 18, Tajinder Singh Bagga said, “Every politician is hungry to get fame. No one will ever confess this. But Bigg Boss is a platform that is seen in every household. I accepted the offer because I wanted to reach a wider audience.” He added, “I am not a hypocrite like others. When we are in politics, we come across as fake even when we address the audience. I hope with this people see my genuine side too. If you are not wrong, you shouldn’t be scared, unless you are being fake.”
Sharing how he plans to deal with the mind games on the show, Tajinder said, “The mind games that politics has in this country, nothing can beat that. But I don’t see any participant as an enemy.” While Tajinder claims to be a fun-loving person, when asked to share a difference between acting and politics, the Bigg Boss 18 contestant laughs and said, “Acting these days has a lot of politics, and politics these days has a lot of acting involved. There are a lot of politicians who are sitting in Delhi as CMs who are acting.”
Lastly, when Tajinder Singh Bagga was asked about his take on actors becoming politicians, he welcomed them but also pointed out certain things they should be mindful of. “Good people should come in, no matter what field they belong to. But they should give time to their constituency. They should not get busy in Bollywood after winning because you have a responsibility towards your constituency too,” he said before signing off.
