Bihar Board Class 12 exam starts on Feb 1 for over 13 lakh candidates

BSEB 2024 Exams: The Class 12 or intermediate exams of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) today (February 1) commenced in the state. The Bihar Board Class 12 exams will be held in two shifts for two subjects on the same day. The first shift will be held between 9:30 am and 12:45 pm and the second from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. BSEB Class 12 inter 2024 exams for science, arts, commerce and vocational courses will continue till February 12.

As per the Bihar Board 2024 exam schedule, the exams will start with the biology, philosophy and economics papers on February 1 followed by mathematics, political science and foundation course on February 2. An additional 15 minutes “cool-off” time has been provided to the BSEB inter students to read and analyse the question paper.

This year, a total of 13,04,352 will appear for the intermediate (class 12) exam, of them, 6,26,431 are girls and 6,77,921 are boys. The exams will be held in 1,523 exam centres across the state. In Patna alone, as many as 78 exam centres have been provided to accommodate 77,012 total students.

BSEB inter 2024 admit cards have already been released. To access the BSEB Class 12 admit cards, schools or students will have to log in at the website and enter the user IDs and password.

Students will have to reach the examination centre well in advance. For exams starting at 9:30 am, students should reach the exam centre by 9 am, and for exams starting at 2 pm, candidates will have to reach at 1:30 pm.

Students must not carry any electronic devices or paper in the exam hall, the BSEB exam guidelines said.

It is compulsory to carry the BSEB admit card 2024 along with a valid ID proof. 

Students can carry stationery items like pen, pencil and blue or black ink pen.
