The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced a significant change in the dress code for students appearing in the Class 12 intermediate annual examination 2025. From February 6, 2025, students will no longer be allowed to wear shoes and socks in the examination hall.

This decision comes after a temporary relaxation in the BSEB 2025 exam dress code between February 1 and February 5, 2025, due to cold weather conditions. However, with the improvement in the weather, the BSEB has decided to reinstate the original dress code policy.

Students are advised to adhere to the new guidelines to avoid being barred from entering the examination hall. The BSEB Class 12 inter exam is being held for a total of 12,92,313 candidates across the state at 1677 exam centres. The Bihar Board Class 12 exam which started on February 1, will conclude on February 15, 2025.

The board has implemented multiple measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams, including a two-level frisking process, three-tier magistrate deployment, CCTV surveillance, and strict entry protocols.

BSEB is holding the physics, geography and business studies exams today, February 5. The physics subject examination for science faculty candidates is being held the first shift from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm and in the second shift, geography subject exam will be conducted for the students of arts faculty and business studies subject exam will be conducted for the students of commerce faculty.
