
CBSE Exam 2025: About 42 lakh students to take Class 10th, 12th exams starting on February 15
CBSE Board Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on February 15 will start the Class 10 secondary and Class 12 senior secondary 2025 board exams. Around 42 lakh students will be appearing for the 2024-25 board exams. As per data shared by the Board, the Class 10 and Class 12 exams will be held in as many as 7,842 exam centres across the country and 26 countries abroad.
As a first, the board will be organising a live webcast to explain the modalities of the board exam guidelines for the centre superintendents, deputy centre superintendents, assistant superintendents, city coordinators and observers and also evaluation guidelines in addition to the roles and responsibilities of all functionaries. The webcast will go live at the CBSE’s YouTube channel from 2.30 pm today (February 14) and will be of two hours duration.
Students taking the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams will have to carry with them the admit cards and school ID cards. The CBSE 2025 admit cards have details on the exam timings, subjects taken by the student and exam centre details.
According to the CBSE 2025 datesheet, the Class 10 board exams will begin with the English (Communicative) and English (Language and Literature) paper tomorrow. The exams will be conducted from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. The Class 12 exams will be held for the entrepreneurship paper on the first day. This year, sufficient gaps have been provided between two subjects generally offered by a student in both classes.
CBSE secondary school examinations will continue till March 18 and CBSE senior school exam will continue till April 4, 2025.
