COMEDK Application begins 2025: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will today start the application process for the COMEDK UGET 2025 exam. This exam is conducted annually for students seeking admission to engineering colleges across Karnataka. Aspiring candidates can now apply online for the COMEDK UGET 2025 exam at the official website, comedk.org.
The COMEDK UGET 2025 application process opens on February 3. Interested candidates are encouraged to complete their registration and submit their applications by March 15.
The student must have passed their Class 12 exams or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as subjects. For general merit candidates, a minimum of 45 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics combined is required, while candidates from SC/ST/OBC categories need at least 40 per cent marks. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects, and candidates can select one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Electronics. Furthermore, only candidates who appear for the entrance exam will be considered for the ranking list. It’s important to note that diploma holders are not eligible to apply for the exam, as there are no provisions for lateral entry into the courses.

The COMEDK UGET 2025 is a three hour long exam and will consist of 180 questions in total. Each question will carry one mark. The exam will be divided into three sections: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. It’s important to note that the exam pattern differs for candidates applying for engineering and medical courses.
COMEDK has issued a warning to students and parents to avoid third-party applications for information, form submissions, or payments. Candidates are strongly advised to use only the official COMEDK website to complete all application-related tasks. This caution comes in light of recent incidents of cybercrime and fraud.
