Goa University is inviting applications for admission to postgraduate and BEd courses for the 2024-25 academic year. The Goa University Admission Ranking Test (GU-ART) 2024 will be held on February 11, 18, 25 and on March 3 and 10, 2024. The university will conduct the change of discipline test on January 30.

Candidates who want to take admission to PG and BEd courses can register at the unigoa.ac.in by January 21.

Unlike most other universities including the central universities in the country who have started admitting candidates to their UG and PG courses through CUET, admissions to the PG programmes at Goa University will entirely be based on the GU-ART. The marks or percentage obtained by the candidate while graduating would only be used to ascertain the eligibility of candidates for the programme. 

However, admission to multiple other PG programmes at Goa University will not be based on GU-ART. These are

– MA Wellness and Counseling at Nirmala Institute of Education

– MBA at Goa Business School

– MBA (Executive) at Goa Business School

– MBA (Integrated) at Goa Business School

– MBA (Financial Services) at Goa Business School

– MSc Marine Biotechnology, School of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, Goa University

– MSc International Hospitality and Tourism Management program (MSc IHTM), VM Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education

The purpose of the GU-ART is only to rank the prospective candidates and not for determination of pass/ fail, a university statement said. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
