The Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara (IIIT Vadodara) has partnered with TeamLease EdTech to launch three online Bachelor of Science (BSc) programs: BSc in Computer Science, BSc in Data Science and Analytics, and BSc in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

These programs, as per IIIT-Vadodara, are designed to equip learners with industry-relevant skills and knowledge, preparing them for lucrative careers in India’s booming technology sector and align with the government’s focussed effort to make India a global skilled manpower supplier.

The institute further cited the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2023 which mentioned how data analysts and AI specialists are among the fastest-growing job roles globally. Additionally, NASSCOM reports that India’s technology sector is projected to create over 1.5 million new jobs by 2026, underscoring the urgent need for skilled professionals. Indian digital economy is expected to surpass $1 trillion by 2025, with the demand for software engineers, data analysts, and AI specialists rising sharply.

These programs will be delivered completely online through live and interactive sessions, ensuring accessibility and flexibility for learners across India. The curriculum is designed in consultation with industry experts, featuring real-world case studies, projects, and hands-on exposure to industry-standard tools.
