IIM-Kashipur to conduct CAP 2024 for common admission to flagship MBA/PGP courses in 10 IIMs
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kashipur is conducting the Common Admission Process (CAP) this year.
The CAP-participating IIMs announce a tentative cut-off for shortlisting candidates for Personal Interview (PI) every year in October, and the final cut-off is decided after the Common Admission Test (CAT) result is announced. This year, after the announcement of the CAT result, the following cut-offs were decided for shortlisting candidates for the PI process under CAP 2024:
The shortlisting for PI will be based on percentile cut-offs only. Those candidates will be shortlisted who have selected the flagship MBA/PGP programmes in at least one of the CAP-participating IIMs (IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu, IIM Kashipur, IIM Nagpur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Tiruchirappalli, IIM Udaipur) while filling in the CAT form.
IIM Kashipur will start sending the PI shortlist notification emails in the second half of January. The PI registration portal will also open around the same time, IIM Kashipur informed. All the shortlisted candidates need to register themselves on the PI registration portal to participate in the PI process. The registration process is mandatory for appearing in the PI process under CAP 2024.
This year, the CAP 2024 PI will be conducted in an online mode to ensure that students do not have to ravel far off places. To help the candidates further, they will be allowed to correct any mistakes they might have made while filling in the CAT form under the educational qualification and work experience categories. The normalized PI scores will also be displayed to candidates after the merit lists are declared.
