
IIT-Madras, CII offer certification programme in supply chain management
Indian Institute of Technology Madras’ (IIT Madras) Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) and CII Institute of Logistics to relaunch the ‘Supply Chain Management Professional’ (SCMPro) certification programme. This programme will have video lectures from IIT Madras faculty.
Working professionals from Manufacturing, IT, e-Commerce, Retail, FMCG or Logistics companies and students from any engineering, commerce, science or business management colleges are eligible to enroll in the course.

The SCM Pro certification programme has already trained over 40,000 professionals in the past decade, as mentioned in the press release. The CII Institute of Logistics will have academic expertise into the curriculum. The new curriculum has been made to provide participants with skills and insights into supply chain management.
The course will include, modules with 30 hours of video content, e study materials, downloadable transcripts. Candidates will have access to discussion forums along with remote proctored online examination every Sunday and a certificate jointly presented by CII and CODE, IIT Madras.
To earn the certificate, participants must pass an online exam consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes). A minimum score of 70% (140 out of 200) is required to pass. Participants can access the course materials for one year. IIT Madras will also invite them to visit the campus.
