IPL Auction 2025: The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction has been one of the most anticipated cricket events over the years since the tournament’s inception in 2008.

The auction process decides how each of the 10 franchises might potentially fare in the next few seasons, until it is time to revamp the team again in a new cycle.

Over the years, there have been multiple players that have gone under the hammer after intense and unprecedented bidding wars. Several teams lock horns to acquire a player, but of course, there is only one victor.

Ahead of the IPL 2025 Mega Auction on November 24 and 25, here is a look at the most expensive players of the Indian Premier League over the years:

The next edition of the IPL auction is set to light up the streets of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25, becoming only the second edition to be held outside India.
