A total of 577 players will be in the fray as the 10 teams will scramble to fill up their rosters. A total of 201 slots are available across the franchises after 46 players were retained on October 31. Punjab Kings will head into the auction with the biggest purse while one-time winner Rajasthan Royals will have the least budget to carve out a new squad.

The IPL Auction 2025 will take place on November 24, Sunday and November 25, Monday at the Abady Al-Johar Arena in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with the auction process set to began at 3:30 PM IST on both days.

After the event in Dubai last year, this is the second time an IPL auction is being hosted outside of the nation. There are 318 uncapped Indian players, 12 uncapped international prospects, and 210 international players on the list. Twelve top players were split into two groups, and they will be the first to be offered at the auction. The auction for additional capped and uncapped players will come next.
