JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Answer Key Released: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) answer key for the January 2024 session. The JEE Main 2024 answer keys for paper 1 (BTech and BE) and paper 2 (BArch and BPlanning) are available at the NTA’s official websites – nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates will be able to raise objections against the JEE answer key by February 9.

Earlier, the testing agency said it would close the answer key challenge window on February 8, however “due to technical glitch in the server”, NTA has revised the answer key challenge window.

In addition to the JEE Main answer key for paper 1 and paper 2, NTA has also released the question papers with recorded responses.

A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 will have to be paid per question challenged. The final answer key will be released after considering the grievances raised by the candidates taking the exam. The JEE Main 2024 session 1 result will be declared on February 12.

NTA held the first session of JEE Main 2024 from January 24 to February 1.  Out of the 12,21,615 candidates registering for JEE Main paper 1, as many as 11,70,036 candidates appeared. The JEE Main session 1 BArch paper was taken by 55,493 candidates out of the total 74,002 registered candidates.

As per JEE Main 2024 marking scheme, if more than one option is found to be correct then four marks will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options and for questions where all options are found to be correct then four marks will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.

If none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped then full marks will be awarded to all candidates who have appeared irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.
