Kareena Kapoor reveals Karisma Kapoor’s Bollywood crush was Salman Khan; names her worst film: ‘What a bad film you made me watch’
The Kapoor sisters, Kareena and Karisma Kapoor, made a rare appearance together on a recent episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2, filling the studio with laughter and lighthearted moments as they participated in fun games led by comedian Kapil Sharma. In one segment, Kareena was put on the spot when asked to name her elder sister’s “worst film” and the role she found most “cringe-worthy”.
For this part, Karisma wore noise-canceling headphones while Kareena responded to Kapil’s questions. Initially embarrassed and hesitant, Kareena eventually named Maidan-E-Jung as Karisma’s “one bad film”. When Kapil asked about Karisma’s first Bollywood crush, Kareena replied with a smile, “Salman Khan.” She also revealed what she finds to be Karisma’s most irritating habit, “She takes a lot of time to get ready. She can spend up to three hours getting ready!” As for Karisma’s most cringe-worthy role, Kareena chose Papi Gudia.
When Karisma Kapoor was finally able to listen in, she was asked to confirm Kareena Kapoor’s choice of her “worst film”. She humorously responded, “I’ve sent Bebo to watch many of my films, and she would often come back saying, ‘What a bad film you made me watch. I got a lot of firings.’” Karisma also admitted she had a crush on Salman Khan. Kapil chimed in with a hilarious quip and how this game could easily spark a sibling feud between the two.
During the episode, the sisters also fondly talked about their legendary grandfather, Raj Kapoor, who motivated them to pursue careers in the film industry and continue the Kapoor family legacy. They also shared how their family encouraged them to prove themselves without any special assistance, challenging them to earn their place in the industry.
The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 is available to stream on Netflix.
