Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan’s love for luxury cars is no secret. However, what drives his passion for owning some of the world’s most expensive vehicles is a story of overcoming adversity. In a recent interview, Kartik revealed that his desire to own luxury cars stems from the time when he couldn’t afford to buy a new vehicle.

“Many years ago, when I didn’t have any vehicle, I had bought a third-hand car. I got it for Rs 30,000 – Rs 35,000,” Kartik shared in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, as he reminisced about his humble beginnings. But that experience sparked a determination to own his dream cars. His first new car after becoming a star was none other than the luxurious Lamborghini Urus.

When asked to list down all cars he owns now, “Seedha Lamborghini, before that I used to only buy third-hand, second-hand cars as that’s what I could afford,” he said. Fast forward to today, Kartik’s garage boasts an impressive collection of high-end vehicles. “I have a new Range Rover. I have a McLaren, the Urus. I have a Mini Cooper, yes. Then I have one more car,” he said.

Kartik attributed his car-buying spree to overcoming past frustrations. “There was a point in my life, maybe this also came from there, I couldn’t afford cars. I couldn’t afford to buy myself any vehicle. I was so furious about it that I had decided that I’ll buy all my dream cars and fill up a garage with cars. So I never feel there is a shortage of cars.”

He humorously added, “I think, at times, I buy cars to cope with the frustration, I don’t even realise it.” However, Kartik now feels content and happy with his collection. “I don’t know what all cars I’ll buy in the future because I have run out of parking space,” he chuckled.

On the work front, Kartik was last seen in Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion. He is now preparing for the release of the much-awaited follow-up to his hit film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
