In an upcoming episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 (KBC 16), Bhool Bhulaiyyaa 3 actors Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan will be seen on the hot seat opposite Amitabh Bachchan. During their conversation, Amitabh will be seen praising Vidya Balan and telling her how he recommended the actress to industry stalwarts after she made her debut with Parineeta in 2005.

Amitabh said, “The first time I saw you was during the screening of Parineeta, and I was sitting with some bigwigs and Karan Johar was one of them. I told him, ‘Iss ladki ko jaldi se sign karo, yeh bahaut badi kalakar ban ne waali hai.'” Big B also revealed that he was so impressed by Vidya’s performance that he asked Vidhu Vinod Chopra where he found her.” Vidya thanked Big B and recalled how grateful she felt working with the megastar in Eklaviya in 2007.

As per the promos released by Sony TV, Kartik Aaryan will be seen revealing how he told his parents about becoming an actor after he bagged a role in Pyaar Ka Punchanama. He also shared that the first time his mother saw his audition, he was performing a romantic scene.

Another fun highlight of the evening was when the actors discussed their fondness for food. Kartik Aaryan also went on to share how a street food stall in Juhu, Mumbai named a dish after him. That’s when Amitabh Bachchan shared a story on how his grandson Agastya Nanda got free food in New York in his name for two years. Amitabh said, “While studying in New York, Agastya often visited a nearby Indian restaurant and he noticed a dish named ‘Amitabh Bachchan’. Being quite astute, Agastya asked the staff about the dish. After eating it, he mentioned to them that I was his grandfather. Initially, they didn’t believe him, so he showed them a photo on his phone, and as a result, he started receiving free meals from there for two years!”
