
KCET 2025: KEA extends registration deadline
KCET 2025 Registration: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has extended the registration for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025. Candidates yet to register for Karnataka CET 2025 exams can register at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The deadline for the registration is now February 24.
The exam is for students taking admission to various disciplines such as engineering, medical, dental, architecture, and other health science courses. In addition, the deadline for the KCET 2025 application fee payment has also been extended to February 25.
KCET 2025 Registration: Steps to apply
Step 1: Visit the official website — cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “KCET -2025 online application” link.
Step 3: Fill the required details and upload the documents.
Step 4: Pay the registration fee and submit the form
Step 5: Save and download the registration form for the future.
To register for KCET 2025, candidates must provide their personal details, communication address, and educational qualifications, upload the required documents, and pay the registration fee.
The KCET 2025 exam is scheduled to take place on April 16 and 17. The exam will be conducted in two shifts each day: the first shift from 10:30 to 11:50 am and the second shift from 2:30 to 3:50 pm.
Additionally, a Kannada language test will be held on April 18 from 10:30 to 11:30 am. This test will be conducted at district centres in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Mangaluru.
Meanwhile, KEA in its notification has asked candidates who applied under Clause Code ‘A’ but did not study in Kannada medium from Class 1 to Class 10, or who are not covered by Rural, Religious, or Linguistic Minority reservations, will have their seven-year study period verified through the Student Admission Tracking System (SATS).
Upon successful verification, they will receive a certificate confirming their claim as successfully verified. These candidates do not need to visit a college for any further verification.
Furthermore, the verification of caste and caste-income certificate RD numbers will be conducted online. Candidates must ensure their certificates are valid and correctly enter their RD numbers while completing the application form.
