
Krea University, IFMR GSB launch National Human Resource Development Network students’ chapter
The IFMR Graduate School of Business (IFMR GSB), Krea University has launched the students’ chapter of the National Human Resource Development Network (NHRDN). Launched virtually by Dr TV Rao, president of NHRDN and Chairman of TV Rao Learning Systems Pvt Ltd, the NHRDN aims for skill-building and competency enhancement, especially for students and young professionals.
The NHRD Krea Chapter will enable students to engage with industry leaders and gain exposure to evolving HR trends. Established in 1985, NHRDN is a non-profit organisation with over 20,000 members across 54 chapters in India and Singapore. This chapter will help Krea University’s to bridge the gap between academia and industry, as mentioned in the press release.
Professor Sridhar Narayanan, founder, of the Grand Alliance for Management Excellence (GAME), led delegates in pledging to uphold NHRDN’s ‘Code of Conduct, while Dhananjay Singh, director general participated virtually and highlighted the collaboration’s impact on strategic planning, change management, leadership development and innovative initiatives.
The event also featured insights from Dr Aquil Busrai, Chief Executive Officer, Aquil Busrai Consulting and former National President of NHRDN and J Kabilan, President, Chennai Chapter, NHRDN, and VP; HR Leader, L andT Construction. They discussed the collaboration’s role in leadership development, strategic HR planning, and industry best practices.
