Hours after a photo of Arjun Mathur’s wedding went viral, the actor shared the photo himself on his Instagram handle, confirming the news. Sharing a picture from his wedding mandap with his bride Tiya Tejpal, Arjun revealed their wedding date in the caption. The couple tied the knot on October 9.

In the shared picture, Tiya, who is a production designer and longtime girlfriend of the Made In Heaven actor, could be seen dressed in a beautiful red saree, while Arjun complimented his bride in a matching kurta set. The couple can be seen sitting in front of a mandap, smiling as they looked at each other with love. Their mandap was decorated with beautiful marigold flowers, looking like a scene right out of Made In Heaven series. The couple seemingly had an intimate ceremony with just family and close friends in attendance.

Talking about his wedding, Arjun Mathur told Hindustan Times , “Tiya and I have been as good as married for many years now, and it was simply time for us to solemnise. We were extremely fortunate to be able to keep it as small and intimate as we wanted. We believe that intimacy is beautiful, as long as it stays private. Once public, it becomes something else, which we have all seen enough of in recent times.”

He added, “We had a beautiful ceremony, and are extremely grateful for every wish and blessing. We would like very much to maintain our privacy as we celebrate our togetherness at this joyous time.”

Sharing the photo, Arjun Mathur wrote, “T & A – 09.10.2024.” His caption was accompanied by hearts and infinity emojis. As soon as the actor posted the wedding photo, actor Sonam Bajwa and Oscar winning filmmaker Karitiki Gonsalves congratulated the couple. The Elephant Whisperer director wrote, “Congratulations to you and T and a wonderful life ahead! So happy for both of you.” Meanwhile, mom-to-be Sonam commented: “Congratulations both of you.” Actor Cyrus Sahukar too congratulated the couple and wrote, “Loads of love and blessings to you two gorgeous people.”
