The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has revised the timings of the Maharashtra Class 10 and 12 board 2024 exams. The Maharashtra board will now stop allowing 10 extra minutes to read the question. 

Earlier, the students taking the Higher Secondary Certiifcate (HSC) Class 10 and Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) Class 12 board exam were provided 10 minutes of question paper reading time. Now, the students will get an extra 10 minutes to complete the question paper at the end of exam. The morning shift will start at 11 am now and end at 2:10 pm while the evening shift will be held from 3 pm to 5:10 pm.

The Maharashtra Class 10 exams will start from March 1 and will continue till March 26. The Maharashtra HSC exam 2024 will start on February 21 and end on March 14.

The decision to withdraw the 10-minutes’ reading time has been taken as cases were found where questions papers leaked during the time provided for reading the question papers. 

The board has already released the Maharashtra 2024 exam admit cards. The SSC exam will begin with a language paper on the first day and the HSC exam will start with the English paper.
