NTA JEE Main 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 session 1, paper 1 (BTech and BE papers) admit cards. The hall tickets have been released at the official website — jeemain.nta.ac.in.

Registered candidates can download the JEE Main admit cards 2024 by using their registration number and date of birth.

Step 1: Visit the official website — jeemain.nta.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 tab given on the home page.

Step 3: On the admit card link, key in your details like application number and password.

Step 4: Submit and download the JEE Main 2024 admit card

Step 5: Take a printout of the JEE Main January 2024 exam hall ticket

Candidates will have to carry the JEE Main 2024 admit card to the exam hall. In addition to this, they will also have to carry a photo identity proof in original. One passport size photograph will also be required to be pasted on the attendance sheet. The passport size photograph should be the same as uploaded with the online JEE Main application form.

Meanwhile, the NTA conducted the paper 2 (BArch, BPlanning) exam on January 24 from 3 pm to 6 pm. In paper 2, Mathematics exam was rated easy to moderate. Few students reported that the numerical based section had few lengthy questions involving calculations. Questions were asked from almost all chapters like Quadratic Equations, Progression & Series, Inverse Trigonometric Equations, Binomial Theorem, Complex Numbers, Probability, Permutation & Combination, Matrices, Determinants, 3D Geometry, Vectors, Limits & Continuity, Definite Integrals, Differential Equations. Less weightage given to Co-ordinate Geometry with question asked from Straight Lines. Few questions in MCQs were reported lengthy but easy.

The Aptitude section of BArch exam was rated easy to moderate. Questions were mostly based on 3-Dimensional Figures, architecture aptitude, monumental details, with some logic based questions.

Drawing section was reported as easy by students. One question involved copying a picture from screen as per own perception in black & white. The second question involved two options out of which one was to be attempted. : 1. View of a Football Stadium as a spectator 2. Abstract Art using a musical instrument in 3D and naming the texture and shadow effect.
