‘Paper leaks claims baseless’: CBSE alerts students appearing for board exams 2025
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a clarification against baseless claims against Class 10 and 12 board exams 2025. The Board commenced the annual examination on February 15 which will conclude on April 4.
In the notification, the Board warned ‘unscrupulous elements’ who are spreading rumours on social media platforms regarding paper leaks or claiming access to the 2025 examination question papers, to avoid spreading false information.
“Certain unscrupulous elements are spreading rumours on YouTube, Facebook, `X’ (formerly Twitter), and other social media platforms regarding paper leaks or claiming access to the 2025 examination question papers. These claims are baseless and are intended to create unnecessary panic among students and parents,” read the notification.
The Board has started working closely with law enforcement agencies to identify and prosecute offenders who are spreading rumours about the CBSE board exams 2025. Those found involved in such activities will face consequences under CBSE’s Unfair Means rules and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
CBSE also asked parents to not engage or believe in “unverified information” circulated online as it disrupts the examination process. The Board requested all the stakeholders, including students, parents and schools to rely on the official communications from them and verified public channels for accurate updates.
