University of Southampton announces 2 scholarships for Indian students

University of Southampton, Delhi has announced scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students in India. The University announced two scholarships: Delhi Presidential Scholarships and Future Talent Scholarship. These scholarships are for Indian undergraduate and graduate students. 

Eligibility criteria information and scholarship applications will be available in the last week of February to all those applying to study at the University from August 2025 intake.

Delhi Presidential Scholarship

–The Delhi Presidential Scholarship will be awarded to one undergraduate and one graduate and will cover tuition fees for the entire course duration.

–Student interested in the scholarship must exhibit continuous academic rigour and exemplify the University’s community spirit and values to attain the scholarship and to sustain it throughout their respective course duration, mentioned the press release.

–The recipients of the scholarship will be announced in June 2025 for the graduate programme and in July 2025 for the undergraduate programme.

Future Talent Scholarship

–The Future Talent Scholarship is scholarship offered up to 12 undergraduate and graduates, offering Rs 220,000 contribution towards the first-year tuition fees.

–The scholarship is available to applicants across all the six programmes offered by the University for August 2025 entry.

–Recipients will be awarded based on strong past academic achievements and their scholarship application.

–The shortlisted recipients will be announced in two tranches, in June 2025 and then in July 2025.

In addition to these scholarships, University of Southampton Delhi has also set aside a merit bursary pool (financial aid) – Future Talent Bursary – for academically strong but financially disadvantaged undergraduate students, mentioned the press release.

The bursary awards are for undergraduate students only, up to a maximum of Rs 660,000 per student, for one year only. Eligibility criteria information and bursary applications will be available in the last week of February on the official website.
