West Bengal Madhyamik 2024 exam starts on February 2, check updates on time

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is set to start the Class 10 madhyamik exams from tomorrow, February 2. The WB 2024 board Class 10 exams will begin with the first language paper on the first day followed by the second language paper and history exams on February 3 and February 5 respectively.

The WB madhyamik exams will be conducted from 9:45 am to 1 pm and students will be allowed to enter the exam centres from 8:30 am. The West Bengal Class 10 exams will be held under CCTV surveillance along with the deployment of police personnel. The WB 2024 admit cards have already been issued to the candidates. Students will have to follow the exam instructions given in the WB 2024 Class 10 hall tickets.

To assist the candidates taking the WB board madhyamik exams, help lines at all levels of districts have been opened. In case of any difficulty in reaching the examination center, they can call the helpdesks. The helpline will remain operational from 6 am to 6 pm on each day of examination from February 2, 2024.

Last year, as many as 6,98,628 students registered for the WB madhyamik exams. The number of students, however in 2022, was 10,98,775.
