The Man Who Loved UFOs Netflix
In late 1980s Argentina, a reporter’s investigation into alien activity is nearly halted by a lack of evidence — until he decides to fabricate his own. Starring Leonardo Sbaraglia, the film is inspired by the life of José de Zer, the Argentine journalist from the 80s responsible for creating the most memorable alien phenomenon in the history of Argentine television. Directed by Diego Lerman, the film is shot in various locations in Córdoba, San Luis, Mendoza, and Buenos Aires. The cast features Sergio Prina, Osmar Núñez, Renata Lerman, María Merlino, Agustín Rittano and Norman Briski.
Self- Portrait As A Coffee- Pot MUBI
Artist William Kentridge’s expansive ‘Self- Portrait As A Coffee- Pot’ will stream from October 18. The nine-episode film series by the South African artist, renowned for his animated drawings for projection, as well as his sculpture, theatre and opera productions over the last forty years, is shot in his Johannesburg studio during and in the aftermath of the 2020–2022 COVID-19 pandemic. “Inspired in part by Charlie Chaplin, Dziga Vertov and the innovative wit of early cinema, this lively series of distinct but interconnected vignettes, at turns humorous, philosophical, political and probing, is a hymn to artistic freedom and the power of imagination, even when confronted with the challenge of isolation in enclosed spaces,” reads the announcement shared by MUBI.
Snakes & Ladders Prime Video
Set in the mid-2000s, ‘Snakes & Ladders’ is a dark humor-thriller that truly celebrates friendship in all forms. It follows the journey of four school friends, who are forced to navigate tough choices, unravel tangled mysteries, and confront their own bad choices. Curated by Karthik Subbaraja and created by Kamala Alchemis & Dhivakar Kamal, the series is directed by Ashok Veerappan, Bharath Muralidharan and Kamala Alchemis. The ensemble cast, including Naveen Chandra, Nandha, Manoj Bharathiraja, Muthukumar, Srinda, Sreejith Ravi, Samrith, Surya Ragaveshwar, Surya Kumar, Tarun and Sasha Bharen in pivotal roles. The series will be available in Tamil, with dubs in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages.

In Paris Has Fallen, a spin-off from the Fallen series, action and intrigue take center stage. “The action-packed thriller sees a terrorist group, led by the revenge seeking Jacob Pearce (Sean Harris), attack a high-profile event, with the French Interior Minister as their target. Protection officer Vincent Taleb (Tewfik Jallab) finds himself working with street-smart MI6 operative Zara Taylor (Ritu Arya) to save the day. When events take a dark turn, Vincent and Zara soon realise that the plan extends beyond just one politician and must rely on each other to stop Paris falling to a man hell-bent on vengeance,” reads its synopsis.

The Walking Dead: Dead City S1 follows Maggie and Negan as they travel into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan cut off from the mainland long ago. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty and terror. The dystopian drama is created by Eli Jorne and the cast features Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zeljko Ivanek and Lauren Cohan.
